Rob: “It felt weird to run against the charging masses. They were fighting for me. They were taking up my cause. But I had to survive. I needed to protect IOREA. I needed to find Tamara. My day to fight would come soon enough.”

Rob: “Hundreds died in the massacre at Obcidio Square, but they didn’t die in vain. Thanks to IOREA, footage of the massacre was transmitted all across Erogatio and the rest of the galaxy. Their deaths galvanized the revolution. It was time to get organized. Time to get armed. Time to strike back.”
 


Now…

Rob: “I had no idea what state the revolution was in outside of Erogatio. I don’t even know if any other worlds are revolting. I do know things here aren’t going so great. The massacre in Obcidio Square galvanized the revolution effort, but it also pushed it underground. The LIU had acted swiftly, violently, and mercilessly. The people here were terrified.”

Rob: “Special Mobile Justice Tribunals, headed by a Magistrate, roamed the streets delivering retribution to all involved in the revolution.”

Rob: “They conducted trials on the spot. These trials were often quick and unfair. The burden of proof fell on the accused, not the LIU.”
Magistrate: “Guilty…”

Rob: “Punishments were equally severe. Those found guilty were typically executed on site, in front of their families.”

Rob: “Even those not involved directly suffered the consequences of the uprising. The planet is now under martial law. Large forces of police, virtually indistinguishable from military units, patrol the streets and skies. Vital areas of the city, including public transportation, are heavily guarded.”

Rob: “Citizens are processed and searched randomly. If any contraband or weapons are found, you either get shipped off to a prison camp or you’re executed. Either way, you’ll never be seen again. Workers were expected to return to work. Failure to show up to your assigned shift meant you were automatically labeled a rebel.”

Rob: “I guess I’m a rebel because I’m not at work. Nope, I’m in the train tunnel directly above the unsuspecting police officers. The LIU’s crackdown has restricted our movement, but thanks to IOREA, we’ve been utilizing the city’s utility, sewer, and train tunnels.”

Rob: “We’ve been using guerilla tactics. Strike hard and fast, and then go into hiding. We would wear down the LIU’s forces and show our fellow citizens that the LIU was not in control. FIRE!”

Rob: “As much as I love destroying the LIU, these attacks had another purpose. I was fighting my way towards Tamara. This attack will allow us to access the Bypass Station, which should give us access to the Elite Districts. First we strike the cops, then we run down the train tunnel. Sounds easy enough, right?”

Rob: “Unless, of course, a police hover car follows you into the train tunnel. Run! Make for the access hatch!”

Rob: “Hurry! Get inside! Where are the others?!”
Corey: “They didn’t make it. Got mowed down.”
Rob: Sigh. More deaths on my watch…“Alright. What’s done is done. We need to be fast. They know we’re in here.”

Rob: “One of the most efficient forms of transportation in cities this size were trains. Even the elite needed them. However, standard trains couldn’t enter the Elite Zones because they were full of sub-elite citizens. What if a scumbag sub-elite citizen accidentally exited the train in the Elite Zone? The horror! Well, that’s where Bypass Stations come in handy. These stations allow the elite to transfer to elite only trains which could then enter the Elite Zone. This was our ticket to Tamara.”
George: “Get that access panel off. I see a train coming.”

Rob: “All we had to do was drop down onto one of these elite trains and ride our way to Tamara.”

Rob: “Of course, riding a high speed train with about one inch of clearance is not the most ideal situation.”

Rob: “The Elite Zone was mostly unguarded. I guess they doubted any rebels would make it this deep into the zone. Alright. This is Tamara’s plaza. That’s her family’s condo on the right. Holy Emperor. Why was this plaza, of all the plazas, the only to be guarded? We’re they expecting me? I don’t care. I came too far to turn around now. I can’t ask my men to do this though. We stood no chance against three highly armed police mechs.”
George: “Psst. Rob. We’ll make a distraction, draw away the mechs.”
Rob: “I can’t ask you to do this.”

Corey: “Who said we need you to ask? We’re free men now. Eat lead you mechanical pigs!”

Rob: “I had a brief window. I made my move. I hope my men survived. I’ll forever be in their debt.”

Rob: “Tamara! You’re here! I thought I’d never see you ag…”
Tamara: “Rob! You shouldn't have come! It’s a tra…”

Magistrate: “Drop your weapon! You are surrounded!”

Magistrate: “Foolish move coming here, Mr. Satus. Many of your coworkers were very forthcoming about your relationship. I didn’t even have to torture some of them. I’ve had a full battalion stationed here for weeks. Well, was it worth it?”
Rob: “Seeing Tamara again? Yes. Yes it was.”

Magistrate: “How about now?”
Rob: “NOOO!”

Rob: “Stay with me Tamara! Please!”
Magistrate: “Aww. So sweet. Good thing you’ll being dying soon too. Your capture order has been rescinded. You are to be executed immediately. Revolution, what a funny synonym for insurrection. It derives from the word revolve. Revolve, the act of making a full rotation. How fitting. The problem with Revolution is you always end up right where you started. Goodbye Mr. Satus.”

Magistrate: “No! What’s happening!”

Punag: “Timbaya Rob Satus. I am Punag-Uyon, leader of the free planet Barathrum and Grand Admiral of the Revolutionary Fleet. You are on board the space cruiser Infinite Horizon. Please, let us help your friend. We have pure Mel on board direct from our allies, the Meteon Kingdom. I’m confident we can save her.”
Rob: “Well, I guess that answers my question. The revolution is galaxy wide.”
